Dr.Frank is an expert of complementary and alternative medicine who has been practicing holistic Medicine for over 31 years. He graduated from GuangXi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and obtained his MD in TCM in 1984.
He was the director of Acupuncture Dept. in China and Senior Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. He is Board Member of United Alliance of NYS Licensed Acupuncturists, Vice Chairman of the World Manipulative Medical Association and professor of New York College of Health Professions.
He also has been trained in Rehabilitation Medicine (physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy) in Japan and obtained his PhD in Neurology from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He is the director of Acupuncture Dept. in China and Senior Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. He has over 31 years of experience in holistic Medicine.
His special knowledge and techniques include Acupuncture (Scalp Acupuncture, auriculotherapy, Eye Acupuncture, Tongue Acupuncture, Facial Acupuncture, and Hand Acupuncture); Moxibustion; Herbal Medicine; Cupping; Gua sha; Taiji-quan; Qigong (Reiqi); Asian BodyWork therapy (traditional Massage); Foot reflexology and rehabilitation medicine.
He had taught Fundamental theory of TCM Science, Herbal Medicine, Science of TCM Formula, Diagnosis of TCM, Internal Medicine of TCM, Surgery of TCM, Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Tui-na, functional medicine, integrative medicine and Anatomy for over 9 years.
Dr. Borenstein obtained his undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University and Medical Degree from the Technion Faculty of Medicine in Israel.
He completed his internship at Staten Island University Hospital and his residency at University Hospital at Stony Brook and St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center.
Dr. Borenstein is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and certified in Medical Acupuncture.
He has a special interest in holistic and complementary medicine. He has memberships in numerous professional societies and is affiliated with Lutheran Medical Center.
Dr. Borenstein is an Adjunct Professor at the SUNY Health Science Center at Stony Brook.
Dr. Warren Albert graduated from National College of Chiropractic in 1982. He was nominated and elected to Delta Tau Alpha national chiropractic honor society for his high standing and achievements.
He received his Diplomate from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, as well as numerous certificates in Chiropractic Rehabilitation. He has been in private practice since 1983, with the last ten years specializing in geriatric care and fall prevention.
In 2003 he made the decision to bring hands-on healing into the long-term care settings with the goals of improving patient comfort, posture and flexibility.
As a holistic practitioner, Dr. Gartenlaub has cared for patients from birth to the age of 102. With extensive expertise to coordinate patient care among multiple disciplines, his specialties include acute and chronic spinal disorders, geriatric and family care, auto and work accidents & disabilities that may arise from injury.
A graduate of Life Chiropractic University in Marietta, Georgia, Dr. Gartenlaub received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1998 after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1993.
He presently holds privileges to visit the Haym Salomon Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation, the Sephardic Nursing and Rehabilitation Home for the Aged Chaim Adult Day Health Care Center. Dr. Gartenlaub is licensed both New York and New Jersey.
